I am stoked to share some of my favorites from Rachel and Trager’s Palos Verdes beach engagement session!

One of the greatest gifts photography has given me is the opportunity to reconnect with so many people from my younger years. We may have been in different friend circles at the time, but it’s really allowed me a second chance to get to know who they are and who they’ve become since those high school days (without the high school, of course!). You may remember similar stories from the sessions of Stephanie, Christine, Bretagne, Cherie, and so many more! It’s really been one of the best surprises that’s come from my business!

That was the long way around to tell you that I first met Trager in high school. So when he contacted me a few months ago to inquire about photographing their big day, you have no idea how excited I was! When Rachel jumped in on emails, I instantly knew she was the chillest girl I’d ever meet, which was confirmed when I finally met her at their consultation. Their vision for their wedding day is #goals – truly centered around the celebration of two people joining their lives together, surrounded by their closest friends and family. They want to relax, have fun and be with the people they love. Again, #goals. Together, they are best friends, and it absolutely shows in all of their photos. When I truly feel like the third wheel, I know I’m doing something right – seriously. I wish I was as rad as these two, but I’m going with “cool by association” for as long as I can.
