Today is a big day for my husband!  It’s his 30th birthday!!

Not many people know this, but Pine & Sea is just one person, me, but it might as well be two, because no one supports me and this little venture of mine more vehemently than this guy.  When I first brought up the boss life with him, he was so encouraging.  I’m sure he had no idea that it would mean he’d end up moonlighting as an assistant.  Sure, he has a full-time job as a Senior Graphic Designer at an LA advertising agency (also, the place where our love story began), but he insists on staying up late with me while I finish unloading cards, culling, editing, delivering, blogging, etc.  He also acts as tech support, and as a graphic designer by trade, he tackles the more complicated Photoshop edits for me.  He knows exactly when it’s time to take a break and grab some fro-yo.  He surprises me with flowers when I’m having a rough day.  He gives up his weekends to join me on photoshoots just so we can spend a little extra time together.  It was extra helpful during the holidays because he held bags and babysat all the cute babes while I snagged photos of their parents.  I started taking quick photos of him assisting (with permission from the parents) just for fun, so please enjoy some of them below!  They aren’t perfect, but he is. 🙂

I love him more than anything in the world, and I couldn’t do this without him.  Thank you for everything you do for me and 🌲⚓, my love!
