Trager and Rachel’s intimate coastal wedding at a private estate in Malibu was perfection! These two have been Mr. and Mrs. for almost a full week – time flies! If you saw their engagement session, you know these two have a love that runs deep for the beach, so it’s no surprise it was the backdrop on their wedding day. The bride and groom tied the knot overlooking the Pacific Ocean, then danced the night away under the stars. They told me from the get-go that they wanted their big day to be small and easygoing, so they could spend quality time with 65 of their closest family and friends. The pair even decided to forgo the typical reception and hosted an extended cocktail hour, so guests were encouraged to mingle and explore the grounds, taking advantage of the indoor/outdoor feel of the estate. This wedding was simply stunning, and full of love and good company.

I always ask for a favorite memory from my couples, and THIS is one of my favorites and still cracks me up every time I read it —

“We love to tell this story. Our first time hanging out in a group, we were at the bar playing pool and Trager asked Rachel “do you like the doors?” and I was very confused but I looked at the patio doors and said, “yes I like doors.” Trager realized I didn’t get that the band The Doors was playing over the radio and busted up laughing.”
