If I told you how badly I wanted to photograph Jeff and Leah’s wedding, you’d think I was a stalker. I used to work with Jeff (my husband still does!) and I loved Leah from the moment I met her. I seriously want to be her BFF. See? I’m being creepy.
First off, these two planned a brunch (best meal of the day) wedding, with the most beautiful bougainvillea florals (shout out to Casey at Ruffle Effect!) on the day of the Game of Thrones series finale (oh you better believe they entered to the opening credits song)… did I mention they also had their pups run down the aisle before their first kiss? I’ll let Leah share a few words about their vision…
“From the very beginning, there were three things that Jeff and I were sure about (besides each other!): we wanted our wedding to be as bright and as colorful as possible; we wanted to represent our Mexican and American cultures as much as we could; and, most importantly, we wanted waffles. Fast forward a year later and we threw the most epic bilingual brunch bash we could have ever imagined, complete with Krispy Kreme donuts, pops of fuchsia at every turn, unlimited mimosas, and 200 of our closest friends and family. (202 if you count our pups Honey and Luna who joined us for our ceremony!)”
It was a beautiful wedding, and I’m so lucky to have been a part of it!!
