When I think about writing this blog post, I’m not really sure how I’m going to convey just how much I love these two human beings. I met Lindsay and Daniel in a little coffee shop in Pasadena two years ago. Yep, two years ago. So you can imagine how much our relationship has blossomed over the course of two years, and you can probably also imagine how amazing their day was with two years to plan!
First, let me tell you about their love. Lindsay and Daniel met at her sister’s birthday party, and it was the start of a beautiful friendship… a friendship that lasted one full year before Daniel finally asked Lindsay on a date, and the rest is history! Daniel proposed to Lindsay with a book that he illustrated with their love story – cue the waterworks! If you met them, you’d instantly know the foundation of their relationship is their friendship (seriously, they’re besties). They are meant for each other and are the perfect balance together.
They tied the knot on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Serendipity Garden Weddings in Oak Glen, CA. Family even flew in from China (!!) to witness their nuptials. It was a party from start to finish, and they danced all night long to the BEST music – 90s (boy bands forever!), 00s, today, some country, Taylor Swift of course (Linds is a big fan!).
Lindsay and Daniel’s wedding was my last wedding until maternity leave and I’m so glad they were because it was an incredible wedding to end on! I was 35 weeks and 3 days on their wedding day, and to think I gave birth just 15 days later blows my mind. I kept telling Baby Owen, “please, please, please stay in there until May 28″ (the day after their wedding). Thankfully he did! I was NOT going to miss this day.
Of course being as round as I was, I needed a superhero backup… or two. HUGE thanks to Casey Figlewicz, who documented this day alongside me, and my husband, Dustin, for carrying all of my gear.
Lindsay and Daniel, thank you so much for including us in your perfect day! Can’t wait to see what this new adventure has in store for you both!!
Off to the party!!
